Still haven’t found my wallet. I have no idea if I misplaced it at school or home (although, after searching around at home, I don’t think it’s there), or if it’s been stolen. It hasn’t turned up after a week, so I’m thinking it’s stolen or definitely misplaced.
Oh, and I did rather badly on the Physics exam on Monday. Got my numbers mixed up and spent too much time trying to check them. I mean, it most definitely would not have 51A as the current if it were a parallel circuit… right? So, that was screwed over…
Oh, and after lunch, I have the UNSW IAC English Comp to do… wow, such great fun. And in Software, Mr. B. decided to enroll us into the National Computer Science School (NCSS) Challenge run by USyd. Yay, fun. Except that he enrolled us in the ‘Advanced’ course. And I don’t really know any proper programming. And the course uses Python. Which I don’t like simply because of its syntax (it’s soo different the the C/C++/C#/PHP syntax I like). So I’m going to have to learn a whole new language, whilst trying to teach myself C#, whilst trying to do all my school work, whilst I want to design and finish my WordPress theme, whilst I want to try and learn the advanced Javascript stuff called AJAX… Yeah, I’m kinda overloading myself XD
Anyways, the Firefox 4.0b2 looks good. The Appstabs are useful… if I could just work out how to keep them there. I need to read into the help files about that… Anyways, I should go now =]

Stuart's Choc-chip and my Chocolate muffins

Us celebrating!!
Today in software (about 15 minutes ago) Mr Benic decided to celebrate Stuart’s and my birthday (yes, he’s a little late, but hey! We got cupcakes!) Here are two photos!!
Edit: Thanks to Sean for correcting some of my gramma =]
TTFN!! Ta Ta For Now!

So, here I am at Sean’s house, using my mum’s laptop, and we’re working on our SDD project. Sean and Ben are busy coding, while I’m trying to workout a splash and layout for the GUI to our silly ATM project. More later.

Wasn’t actually much of a picnic when you think about it. But it was an enormous success and tremendous fun!! Especially for the Yr 7 kids! It was a fun day…
Grouped up with groups 10 & 11, group 12 had a fun time cycling through all the activities we Yr 11s had organised. When it was my turn to run an activity, I was with Thai, and our group had decided Capture The Flag would be an awesome game to play. As we got to the Bicentennial park, however, Thai and I, who were chosen to first run the activity, discovered just how small the area we were using was (and that it was sloped downhill towards the lake). Along with that, we discovered that we needed to create new rules for the CTF game, else it was gonna get boring quickly. So, we decided to add a modified version of Stuck In The Mud to it! And boy did the kids enjoy it =]
Anyhows, as they were enthusiastically playing the game (while the leaders with them periodically joined in), I spent some time looking around. It’s wonderful to see so many people running around being happy in a park… Although it looks odd when they’re all wearing the same uniform, and are all around the same age and size… but that’s a school for ya =P
During recess, Niro pulled out some cupcakes/scone-like-things he had made and offered it to the group of yr 11s that were sitting around and chatting. For some strange reason, Erin called out that it was Niro’s birthday, and we all starting singing Happy Birthday to Niro. Of course, it wasn’t actually his birthday, but we didn’t care =] Some of the people who didn’t know though that it actually was his birthday, which just added to our fun. We all thanked him for his birthday cupcakes though! Once again at lunch we continued it when Yeli brought out a cake she had brought for her peer support group, we all broke into singing happy birthday for Niro again. It was fun!
As I’m writing this post after I have come back from youth group, I feel a bit too tired and way too lazy to type any more about my week and day, especially after having a bandage attached to my arm to protect a rather annoying graze on my elbow from getting an infection after I ran into some stairs in the dark whilst playing outdoor night games (We were playing CTF in the dark!! I just can’t be free of CTF today, can’t I?)
So, I’ll be finishing this now. The rest can be a story I can tell some other day.

Well, I haven’t been blogging much recently… kinda a shame. But mostly it has to do with either not feeling in the mood or just not being able to think up of something to write that wasn’t so mundane that it bored even me (and hey, I can read some really boring stuff sometimes).
But the thing that has been going over my mind the most is the new Doctor Who series (which, along with David Tennant leaving and Russell T. Davies leaving as well (he was the lead producer/scriptwriter/director for the 1st 4 series + Torchwood), brought about a new face and style to the series, hence their idea to completely renew it) which is now called Series 1 (again), with Matt Smith as the new Doctor (you know, when I first saw him, I thought he wasn’t going to be anywhere as near as good as David Tennant, but hey! He’s living up to David’s reputation pretty well!), the new Sonic Screwdriver (green? Wow, odd, like when the one Dr Lovesong (or whatever her name was) had in the Library… red with lots of extra parts), and the New Brand New TARDIS!!!! It’s like, childlike, fun, bigger! Kinda like the Doctor’s personality. At least, David’s portrayal of the Doctor… Read more »

I am going to say this quickly, as I don’t know how much time I have available to me.
I’m not going to be blogging much for the foreseeable future, as my mum has restricted my use of the computer (for good reason I guess). So, until I get myself an iPod Touch or the Nokia X6 or Nokia 5800, I’m not really gonna have much chance to properly blog.
So, as a quick update: Exam timetables are up!! Now I’m really starting to worry about how much I’m studying… I need to finish a prac. essay for English, and I haven’t done any homework for maths recently (been busy trying to practise piano while doing every other subject’s homework stuff…). I should probably write up a summary for Maths, rather than Phys and Chem, seeing as the sciences already gave us the Keep It Simple Science notes…
So, yeah. TTFN, Ta Ta For Now!! (But not for too long, I hope!)

Well, last Friday we went to see a foreign film called “Welcome” in Leichardt. It was a French film, as was a fairly interesting one, if not an odd one (at least compared to the usual American stuff you get). After that, the grade was taken to an Italian restaurant in the Italian Forum near there. It was a brilliant meal, I loved the pizzas and the pasta, and the staff were lovely. Having booked a few weeks prior, they knew that we were a rather large group and had several more table and chairs out for us to sit at. I believe the regularly have groups come there, although not necessarily to that exact restaurant.
So, the idea of seeing the film was not only to fulfil a requirement of our English syllabus, but to also act as a stimulus for our creative writing assessment task, due tomorrow.
I’ve decided that I’m not going to be able to do too much major editing to the story as it is, so I’m going to post it up on my blog, in this particular post, and let you guys read it. If you notice any grammatical errors, hopefully by the time I print it off and hand it to my teacher I will have removed it =] I haven’t actually finished proof reading this version, so, you’ve been warned. At time of posting, it was 796 words long (officially, limit is 800). Read more »

In the past week, all it’s done is rain on and off, and then pour down like there was no tomorrow for a few minutes while everyone was trying to get on a bus (or round about then at least). Thursday, swimming carnival. Not much fun, cold day, wet and rainy, crowded, and I’m not a swimmer, so I wouldn’t have put myself in a race… and so I didn’t. It’s not that I can’t swim, it’s that I don’t swim well. I remember all those hours where the swimming instructors would try to teach me how to better perform my freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke… never got to the butterfly, thank goodness. I definitely don’t enjoy the racing type swimming either. I prefer just the lazy, relaxing swimming, playing with friends. Read more »

Wow, I didn’t think I would be, but the horror movie that a lot of people laughed through has really spooked me. Took till nearly 2 hours after it finished before I felt that I had been spooked. For the type of movie it was (horror??), it’s wasn’t the best, but it was still better than many of the first reviews said. The version being shown in cinemas around the world now is actually the 3rd version of the movie, interestingly.
Anyhows, today was a good day. After graduation, I went with my friends to Castle Towers, where shopping, browsing, general wandering, talking, eating, arguing and eventually watching a movie before going home was the activities of the day. I shan’t bother going into greater description of the day. I don’t look forward to the formal. Well, I do look forward to it, I’m sure it’ll be great. I just feel really nervous about it, I always feel nervous about social events like that.
Thanks to my friends for a great school year, btw!!

I hope I spelt the title correctly…
Anyway. I’ve finally got my Yr 9 PDM Term 4 video project to work on the computer!!!!! Finally, Windows Media Player can play full HD MP4, BEAT THAT QUICKTIME!!! Actually, I wonder if Apple updated Quicktime to be able to play HD MP4…
Anyways, with a video data rate of 13.5Mb/s (Mega Bits, not Mega Bytes), I guess that was why none of the players could correctly play it.
Anyways, now that I’ve got it working, I’m gonna attempt to upload it to YouTube or somewhere… after I cut the file size down from 578MB =] Oh, and I accidentally encoded it in 4:3 aspect ratio, not the proper widescreen 16:9… even though the camera could do 16:9………
Going to school soon. Just like to ask all readers this: If you find a feature on the site that doesn’t work, please comment on it, or tell me some how. I’d like to get them all fixed and working.
Cheers!! And remember, Be Positive. It doesn’t do well to be negative (I know full well how that feels….).
This was NOT a community announcement, but it was by Ant!
