There’s some Indie music out in the world that I like… I wonder how I can go about acquiring copies of it… problem with Indie bands is that it’s hard to get a hold of copies of their albums, especially if they’re not in your country (or not handing out free copies over the internet like some of the do…).

Talking about indie, I was surprised to hear that one of the iPod Touch 1G ads was actually a buffed up Indie ad made buy a guy who posted it on YouTube. He had made his own version of an iPod ad, and the people at Apple like it so much that they contacted him to work with their advertising team to make a version for TV.

And these ones happen to be Apple lovers…. eww (not aimed at you Anthony, these people go beyond the sensible)

Hi guy’s!!!!! I’m typing this from my brother’s iPod whilst eating dumplings! I had to install an app to make this work properly, as it doesn’t work in the browser. My brother said to mention that I’m taking ages to do this. I think I should get my own iPod Touch now, except I want to convince my mum to get me a new phone (the Nokia 6500 slide is really annoying me with it’s bugs!)

XKCD, you’ve done it again! This is a kinda in joke… ohk, more a geeky joke, like the geeky jokes on that app that Anthony (Liang) has on his iPod Touch.

The weird sense of duty really good sysadmins have can border on the sociopathic, but it's nice to know that it stands between the forces of darkness and your cat blog's servers.

Physics is really bugging me, and so is the English practise essay… homework, why do I leave you to the last minute?

I’ve finally added the mobile version files of my theme (Repose, not Changing) to my template folder on the PC, now I’ve just go to work on them. Right now they are an exact copy of the normal files, just with a different name. Added what I hope are working calls to the theme so I can get the files when I finally field them. Hope I don’t kill the mobile device when I load my site with them. Sofar, all I have is the annoying emulators on the internet, or my brother’s iPod Touch to test it on.

I hope to get the Nokia X6 later in the year as my mobile platform to work off (cannot be bothered with Windows Mobile, whatever version you have, or BlackBerry or PalmPre, along with Android, as I have absolutely no access to them. So iPhone/iPod Touch, and maybe later Symbian^1 or Symbian^3 browsers are all I can work for right now). As it has a smaller CPU clock than the iPod Touch, I guess it’ll be my base platform.

So, I’ve got this ahead of me: to turn off the sfx for jQuery UI, to create a stylesheet suited for mobiles, to decide whether to keep background images on mobile or not, to come up with custom page templates, to make comments slightly neater, and to fix up the webpage size. Nice… and I’ve still got school on top!

I am going to say this quickly, as I don’t know how much time I have available to me.

I’m not going to be blogging much for the foreseeable future, as my mum has restricted my use of the computer (for good reason I guess). So, until I get myself an iPod Touch or the Nokia X6 or Nokia 5800, I’m not really gonna have much chance to properly blog.

So, as a quick update: Exam timetables are up!! Now I’m really starting to worry about how much I’m studying… I need to finish a prac. essay for English, and I haven’t done any homework for maths recently (been busy trying to practise piano while doing every other subject’s homework stuff…). I should probably write up a summary for Maths, rather than Phys and Chem, seeing as the sciences already gave us the Keep It Simple Science notes…

So, yeah. TTFN, Ta Ta For Now!! (But not for too long, I hope!)
