Well, up, it would seem to me that nothing (or close to it) has happened in the past week or two (well, nothing too interesting) for me to talk about. I suppose I’ll find something to talk about. Time for school again, and I’m beginning to wish the holidays were longer (only so I could get all my work done). I’m kinda bored with life really. I mean (and sorry to all you people who love english) English is an extrememly boring subject (or perhaps it’s just having to listen to a teacher like Mr Van Loon) with the studying analysing of texts from long ago (aka weird poets and Shakespeare). Seriously, Shakespeare’s stories are nice, yes, but I don’t see how they are so special at showing society, or as an example of the English language. I mean, he spent more time making up ryhmes that don’t make sense rather than actually telling a story. He’s like those authors who are paid on a per-word basis (thinking about it, he probably was paid for how long the play was)… There are plenty of other things we could read, so why do we have to spend our entire secondary education life (and afterwards if you do English later) reading and trying to make sense of his cryptic ramblings he stuck into plays, and then having to write long winded essays which everyone knows are a load of bull about them? Really nice is what I would put to Nicholas Hooper’s movie soundtrack Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Brilliant stuff…
If you don’t know already, I enjoy listening to movie soundtracks, especially the ones from movies I really enjoyed. They’re one half of the movie really. When thinking about how important they are, I remember that exhibit at Quest-a-con, with the video clip where it plays along with different soundtracks to show how important the music is. Read more »

As we start to ease into the holidays, I take a quick look at my blog to see something I was expecting for two weeks now (You’re slow Kevin Zhu!). Kevin Zhu ‘spamming’ my website. In response, I have deleted his spam, and I will now check back every day to see what he’s come up with. He’s decided to cloak his IP address so that I can’t block him that way, so it’ll have to be the good old wait-till-you-get-spammed-then-clean-it-up method.

As we edge closer to the middle of July, I take a moment to catch up to saying Happy Birthday to people (even if I’ve already said Happy Birthday to them in person).
Happy Birthday to Stuart, who was a year older on Thursday. Happy Birthday to my Dad, who was another year older on Friday. And Happy Birthday to Dietrich, who is a whole year older today.
Gloomy day to start the holidays. One of these days, I’m gonna walk down to that new Woolworths that has opened in Bella Vista, and see what else is in there. Might even be able to see a movie, or go out somewhere for a while to do something different for once. Oh, and having had a quick look at Mr Simmon’s “Virtual B15″, HE USES THE MANDIGO THEME for WordPress! Great Taste, Mr Simmons!

July is the home to many birthdays on my calendar… Today I say Happy Birthday to Anthony Eden of Way2Web.net
Slowly as my grade turns 16 (or 15), I think of how we are getting older, and I wonder what we’re going to do in the future… the future, such a weird place to think about. I’ll try not to dwell on it.
