I’ve got one thing to say

Darn you Karan. And anyone else I know with Halo Wars…

Yeah, so, it came out at like 9pm Friday, and costs around $100 and all that. I don’t care. I WANT TO PLAY THE FULL VERSION!!! I’m tired of the Demo already… The plot sounds good. Still waiting for the soundtrack. It got soldout in about 1 week… how is it that popular?

Anywhos, besides MSY, what good computer stores are there in Sydney? Prefferably in western Sydney… I’ll have to go looking.

I

I want the Halo Wars soundtrack.
I want heaps of stuff

Clean up

Yeah, I know, Clean Up Australia day is soon. I don’t know the date, just tell me when it’s really soon.

Yesterday I cleaned up my study/computer room. Now, with the new printer (it works?! That’s not supposed to happen!) placed ‘neatly’ under the desk (What my mum was thinking, I shall never know), and my tower case up ontop of the table, the cabling under the desk is a lot neater (ignoring that the mess has now moved up to behind my computer screen…).

Talking about the computer, I plan to upgrade it just slightly, with an extra 2GB of RAM, and a 2nd 160GB Hard drive. That should be plenty enough to play games while doing my homework… (plus, I could install Linux on the 2nd HD, except that I’m gonna install Windows 7 Beta instead.)

School is annoying me. Just as it’s annoying most people. Why does our first proper assesment have to be so soon? And why do I seem to have so much work? Maybe I’m not managing my time well…

Oh, and sorry this is late. Happy Birthday Aunty Hazel!

Happy

Happy Birthday to Ihita and Lawrence!! Sorry this is a couple of days late…

Nothing much has been happening around school… My SRP proposal got rejected… Mrs Kwan said I need to make it less like a consumer product testing one, and make it more like an actual experiment… now how to do that…

I’m bored. I don’t feel so well. I’m hungry. Something…..       Anything……………..?

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

Tuesday 10th February, 2009. USA. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is released to the public. NNNNOOOO!!!!!! WHY DOES EUROPE HAVE TO GET IT ON THE BLACK FRIDAY?!! THAT INCLUDES AUSTRALIA!!!!!

Already people have finished it. Already the plot has been written up on Wikipedia. As I write this, I remind myself, only a few more hours untill it’s out in Australia and New Zealand. Stupid ratings board. Now Australia has a toned down version of the game… Oh well, still a great game. Edit: THE GAME IS 12GB LARGE?! AND IT STILL DOESN’T END?! Read more »

IST project 4

This is the 4th or so major project we did for IST. The Podcast. Most of us failed (in our minds), but we haven’t got our marks back yet, so…

Anyway, without consulting anyone what so ever, I’ve decided I’m gonna upload the video I completed. Unfortunately for Kevin Zhu and I, I’m uploading a version that I finished just this afternoon. The difference between this version and the one I showed in IST: music!!! Take away all the backing music except for Noots at the end, and that’s the basic original video. Oh, and Kevin, if you read this, I found the background file on my comp’s version, took a bit of digging around =]

I’ll update this post once I’ve uploaded it.

A little light headed

Yeah, so, today, if any of you were wondering why I wasn’t at school, and I or one of my friends whom I’ve told didn’t tell you: I had two baby pre-molars removed. Read more »

Time

A little something I dug up from the depths of my room. A piece of work we did in Yr 8.

Time

For years we played
Innocent and young;
Pulling pranks and who knows what
with friends.
But now, we know better
As he was diagnosed with

The curse

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

During the time span of just three months
Cancer ravaged his body;
It destroyed his brain.
The tumour spread, forthwith
He went through various treatments:
Pills, surgery, and then the dreaded C word
Chemotherapy

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

For weeks he tried, to stop the monster from crushing his body
Never again did he try
Never again did he hold my hand
Never again did I see his face
My tears, spilling like blood on the day

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

Smoke, billowed, as the fire consumed his body
His last dying wish to me: “remember me.”
Always will his voice ring clearly in my ears;
Time unable to erase it.
Those times when there was nothing to stop us, from taking on the world;
Early in the morning, or late at night.
Roses adorning his urn,
Every day, every night, without fail
Dreams of us together, forever shattered.

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

He didn’t have a chance:
For Time is heartless.
He hadn’t fully experienced life:
For time is merciless.
He has no more time with this world:
For time is meaningless.

Everything we did together
Everything we talked about
Never left my mind
Never left my memory.
Everything we laughed about
Everything we were sad over
Never were they forgotten
Never were they heard again.
For…

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

Each day a lone visitor
Each day a day gone by
Without a friend
Without a partner to spend life with.
Each day people’s memories fade
Each day I remember as clearly as the day he left.

Time is heartless
Time is merciless
Time is meaningless

Catching up

To the rest of time and space. First I want to say a few things.

1) I LOST THE GAME!!! Sorry, I managed to go all hols without ever thinking of it, even with talking to Sean ‘often’. Then one morning, I wake up, and “funny, I seem to remember laughing about loosing the game… ARHG!”

2) If you want to stop loosing the Game if you believe it like a lot of us do, read this pic:
ANTI-MINDVIRUS

3) If you don’t agree with XKCD, then you’ve just lost the game and there’s nothing you can do about it. Ha!

4) A Late Happy Birthday to Yoosung (16 already?!), and Arnav!!
P.S. My mum is really really starting to piss me off

About

Hiya! I'm Ant, an aussie Teen living out in Sydney, Australia (and BTW, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney is not a real address... yet), and welcome to my blog. Hopefully you're not a stalker =]

Aside from blogging, I also have made some attempts at website & WordPress Theme design (as seen by my blog!), so expect some weird things on this site sometimes
