At least we tried. We were narrowly beaten (or so Mrs Sweeny said) by the Negative team for our debate… but that means that games definately should not be banned!! yay =]  Congrats to the Negative team.

Exams coming very soon. BTW, Mr J. is writing the maths exam!! He was kind enough to give his class a list of the topics he’ll be using in the exams. Piano exam soon, need to study my general knowledge like crazy. Why does Deva have to leave in week 5? Can’t you stay for longer Deva? We need you for our PDM video, and for the rest of school. It’s gonna be different with you missing…

Anywhos, time to finish off that science assignment. And I probably should also finally print off and finish my previous science assignment… and do proper work on the across-the-grade science assignment. Meh, one of these days.

Saved from having to debate today with only a half finished speech, thanks to a tactic employed by Daniel and Matt. I think…

Anyway, now I have a few days to learn my speech and touch it up… I hope it goes for long enough to make it past the 3 minutes mark. I wish ourselves good luck as we face a formidable team, the team-mates of which include Ilona and Jasmin… I sure hope Daniel and Matt do well. I’m gonna fail…

Soon the Yearlies will be upon us, I must really study my general knowledge for my piano exam. Assignments are due, and I have no idea what I’m supposed to be studying. Everything I suppose.

Starting tomorrow… I really, really, really, should write something about now… but I’m still researching about it… why should I bother doing all this research?! I’m 3rd speaker… BTW, topic is ‘That Video Games Should Be Banned’ and I’m on affirmative. Oh well.

This post is dedicated to congradulating Jasmin for her completion of her Flute exam, and her good mark (definately better than what I could possibly achieve). Great work!! If you wanna know what mark she got, ask her. Love you Jaz =]

My internet is being so slow, my computer is being a bit slow, and I was stupid enough to leave my jumper in the school playground. Just hope it doesn’t rain tonight, or tomorrow morning. I hope Sandra did well in her Flute exam. And I hope people did well in their commerce exam today, especially the accel students.

Oh, and just as I’m writing this, hoping it doesn’t rain on my jumper (if it’s still out there…), it starts hailing and then has some heavy rain. Just my luck.

Time to do homework.

A weekend where it was my day off from marking, and I don’t have Chinese school. What fun. Finally finished the Flash animation for PDM. It looks ok. Could do with a little bit of fine tuning, which I’ll do later today. Right now though, I’m gonna write up the procedure for it…

The ‘Second Coming’ Conference is on at my church this weekend. The big topic behind it is the 2nd coming of Jesus at the end of times. I only went for the 1st half on Saturday night. Managed to convince my parents to let me go home for the 2nd half so I could finish PDM (which I did finish, as I said). I wonder if I’m gonna be going tonight.

Oh, well, all my homework is gonna be put on hold while my hypocrtical mum (no, really, she is) tells me to do heaps of piano practice (ignoring the fact that I’m trying to do my homework at the same time…)

We had our piano tuned on Wednesday. It definately sounds better now, and also now the dampening pedal doesn’t squeak all the time. And now the top end register doesn’t sound so soft… I wonder what was wrong with it…

Band this morning was ok. I finally got to see the new song people have been talking about. I once again realise how bad my scales are on the flute… anywhos, it was otherwise good.

Futsal comp back on today. Everyone on our team (except Anthony) forgot their shoes, so we had to play barefoot (some of us played with our socks on). I’m a terrible goalie, just so you know, but we still managed to win with the help of Piranavan. Yay!! Or at least, I think we won…

Well, we’re all now back at school. First two days have been good. So far managed to miss all homework, but I still need to finish my PDM, and funnily enough, I don’t think I actually ever finished science!! Anyways, soon we’re gonna have our exams, and the Yr 12s have their HSC on Thursday, and Yr 10s and a few yr 9s next week, and then there are people with music exams as well….. term 4 is definately the time of exams.

Also, today, I just downloaded the new Windows Live Messenger 2009 Beta (Milestone 3). It looks pretty good, has a new UI (designed for Vista), and many more features. Only downside with it is that Messenger Plus! doesn’t yet support it =[….. oh well, I can wait.

And, so sorry Nicole, for forgetting your birthday!! Sorry!! Happy birthday to you about a month ago.

And the holidays are drawing to a close… One more day before school. Frantically finishing up homework. My mum is annoyed with our modem, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly, so she can’t work at her desk. Hope the 1st day of school isn’t too bad.
