Date: Wednesday 27th August, 2008.
Waking up early for breakfast (at 6:30 am), we had a choice of half a fried tomato, bacon strips, scrambled (powdered) egg, cereals and toast. A great choice of food…. (The tomatoes and eggs were terrible!!). By 8:30 we had left Motto Farm Motel and were once again in the coach on the road, heading towards Port Macquarie. The day’s first performance was at Johns River Community Hall. Johns River Public was the school that watched us this time. We were expecting another school to come as well, but they ended up not coming. So we had 21 or so kids sitting down on the floor in front of us, staring at us, as we played our show (albeit a slightly shorter one this time). Mark got them up dancing in one of the pieces, it was fun to watch. Read more »

Hello all. Back from a wonderful band tour. I’ll just talk a bit about it, shall I?
Date: Tuesday 26th August, 2008.
As people slowly turn up at school, we milled about waiting for the tour band roll call which happened at 8:30 am. After Dr Cryole marked us all off, we moved all our gear down to the bus bay where we waited for our coach to turn up. 8:55 am, we start loading the coach with our bags and instruments/gear. By 9:30 am, we’re off on the 2008 Band Tour to the Mid-North Coast. Read more »

The DET has really screwed up their internet. I’m posting this from school. I laugh at the DET. HA!
I really should be working. I wonder how long this will last.

As I pack for band camp, I finish writing up my english story. Thanks to my friends for editing my story and helping with ideas. Thanks to the team at Monolith Productions who made F.E.A.R. and thanks to the parents on the band committe who made the band tour possible.
Now that that is over and done with, I think tonight I might try and get a good night’s sleep, or maybe that should be the aim of tomorrow night. I hope I can feel that I’ve finished my story for english by the end of tonight… otherwise I’m going to feel stuffed all tomorrow. Read more »

My eye has been bothering me since mid Monday, but it’s getting better now. I have no idea why it’s been how it is. Slight pain on Sunday, annoying pain on Monday, annoyingly sore on Monday evening, not so sore Tuesday morning, dull by afternoon, slight again now. Weird that it happened, my eyelid getting red, and then swollen on Monday evening…. Read more »

Karan has told me that I should point out that in a previous post I when I talking about him teasing me, I was talking about him teasing me about his Xbox 360. Waste of time writing this, in my opinion. But he made me do it….
I’ve been rushing through F.E.A.R. again, so that I can get a good feel for some kinda super-natrual/horror setting for my story…. I feel that I’m spending too much time rambling on about nothing worth while at the moment… I need more of a story behind it rather than needless descriptions of something not so important…. I also need some idea for how I’m going to move it along/finish it…. Read more »

In the last 3 days I have had an average of 4 hours of sleep per day. Not good for me, especially when I really should be getting something like 9 hours of sleep (aparrently that’s healthy, I agree). But despite my body lacking sleep that it’s used to getting, I don’t feel that tired…. Although, I’m finding it hard to concentrate on my school work. Games are so much easier to concentrate on….. There’s a fracture, in a colour bar
In the backseat, of a parked car
By the liquor store, where the street light
Keep you company, till the next night
That is the first verse of “Oh! Gravity” by Switchfoot (great band!!!). I’ve got the chorus stuck in my head as well…….
Oh gravity! Why can’t we seem to keep it together?
Sons of my enemies,
Why can’t we seem to keep it together?
Why this tragedy?
Why can’t we seem to keep it together?
Oh, gravity!
Why can’t we seem to keep it together?
Jon Foreman is a great singer/songwriter. I want to get his solo eps. One day.
Been reading Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox. Good book. Should be going to bed now. Didn’t get my normal 7-8 hours of sleep last night/this morning. Went to bed at 12:30ish…. if I keep that up, i’ll stunt my limited growth. Oh well.
Scripture today was interesting. A group from Toongabbie Christian school came to give a bit of a show/message. There was their ministry band (they were loud), a small acting troupe like group, and then the guy giving the message. Interesting message it was. Too bad my memory sux and I can’t remember what he was actually talking about. Maybe I’ll remember tomorrow….. most likely not.

Oh, how bad of me…. I forgot Sean and Owen’s birthdays!!! Happy Birthday Sean and Owen (Friday last week), both 15 now… the rest of the grade is catching up. Also, happy birthday to Prosha today, also 15.
Sean is one of many people who have Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox already…. I hadn’t realised it was out in Australia yet!! NO!!!! Oh well…. We’re now doing trig in maths. This is going to ‘fun’, as now I have to remember everything that I’ve learnt and forgotten. We’re doing hockey in PE, seems surprisingly easy, and I’ve only ever played it like twice before… maybe that’s why people like it so much. I really want an Xbox 360. Karan, stop teasing me….
