Speckled Green

Music NightS was on Thursday and Friday night. That means going back to school at 6:30pm to prepare to perform to an audience of 2 or 3 teachers, the other performers and their parents and the odd student here and there. The first night, I had a performance for the Flute Ensemble, which was right after the junior band opening. From what I heard of them, they were ok. I think I’m going to like ‘High School Musical’… we’re going to be playing it on Concert band tour. The Flute ensemble did ok, but we probably could’ve played a bit better. We seemed a bit… drawn back? But who cares? I also was part of the ‘Beginner Band and Friends’, as one of the ‘friends’ of cause . I was playing the piccolo! What fun. Sight reading music, playing an octave above the other flutes. Oscar was there to help boost the numbers, and Sean was playing Base Clarinet (go bass!!), Jess on Tuba, Nathan, Whinney, Fiona and Kitty? on percussion.
