So far, so good

So, on Sunday I joined the several thousand people in Australia who volunteered to help collect for the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal. This year, alot more people from Baulko signed up than last year, and even more wonderful, alot of them could actually come this year, compared to last year. At the collection point (where Anthony had set up his accounting system he programmed himself (he’s getting rather skilful…) the screens he had set up so people could see how much money they had collected was running on something he wrote up in 20 minutes at 9pm the night before! lol) I saw alot of people I know from our school.
Monday, Concert band in the morning, which reminds me that I should put more practice into my flute playing, not just neglecting it to concentrate on piano (while the piano exam might be a whole 4 or so months away, you can never be to prepared!!!). Science competition: easy, so why did I do (I think…) so many silly mistakes, and why do I feel like I stuffed it?!?!?!?! Creative Arts Fest rehearsal: what a waste of time… at least I learnt some more stuff about the sound system in the TLC! I was the only person who seemed to be able to come to that on the ‘new’ sound team (aka yr 9(s) in-training). They want another rehearsal next week Monday afternoon (after school, eating up my Flute ensemble time. Why can’t they do it during school?!), then the Thursday afternoon (during school :D ) and then the actual Thursday evening it’s on… So much work to do, and so annoyingly alot of stuff it wants to replace. E.g. PULSE Rehearsals during school, Concert band workshop on weekend/after school till late, annoying science homework assignments with annoying questions, Yamaha fest, PULSE concert, the list goes on and on… oh well.
I’ve got Camp tomorrow till Friday arvo. So I’m going to be gone for a while… I wonder if this is going to be really fun (a two and a half day hike for the first time in my life?!), fun, ok, not so fun, boring or really boring… The group I’m in is all guys (all Asian ‘sfar as I can remember…) and with some random teacher who I can’t remember and don’t know. What fun… Half my friends are either spread over several groups or stuck in somewhere on the list with my group… but hey! I’ve got alot of people to talk to (ok, ok, there’s only 17 of us in the group, but still).
Also, Happy Birthday to Daniel Lamp (15?) yesterday!! I guess he was sick today, as he wasn’t at school….:( and Happy Birthday to Anthony Liang (15):D!!! I bet I’ve forgotten a heap of other people’s birthdays that have gone by…. oh well, I’ll just have to learn when people’s b’days are.
So, yeah, that’s how it’s going to be for a while… lets see what happens while we’re gone, and how many times it rains on us! :D

Hiya! I'm Ant, an aussie Teen living out in Sydney, Australia (and BTW, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney is not a real address... yet), and welcome to my blog. Hopefully you're not a stalker =]

Aside from blogging, I also have made some attempts at website & WordPress Theme design (as seen by my blog!), so expect some weird things on this site sometimes
