How much of it do I have in my room? Well, lets just say a whole cardboard box of paper was thrown out today…. and that was after 5 hours of sorting through all the mess in my room. Yes, I’m a very messy person, although, if you were to look at my files on my computer it would all seem to be neatly orgaised (that’s ’cause it’s a WHOLE heap easier to clean up a computer than it is to clean up a room). So, if you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to so far in the long weekend, its mostly got to do with cleaning up my room. Friday, after some time on the computer giving my site a little update, I was sent off to do some long needed piano practice. After completing that (what a good way to use up an hour or so of my free time), up I go to my room, book in hand, and I finish Just Stupid in an hour. I finished Slaughter boy last night/morning, so I find something useful to do. Clean up my room (I’m sick and tired of my parents reminding me to do it, so it’s useful and helpful to me, and I suppose everyone in the house as well). Read more »

Kausthab says that’s easy. Just get a map and cross out a country. The rest of us just don’t listen to him and run. 3km, kinda cheap, as the actual course is supposed to be like 5km or something for my age group (15′s), but schools can’t wait for us to run/walk enormous distances like that! Anyways, me being me, I ran the cross country, walked half of it, and came 24 out of I-Don’t-Know-How-Many (Owen estimated 60…). Anyways, pretty good, i think, considering I haven’t run long distances or stuff in ages. I still feel tired though. Maybe I should try to keep myself fit…. And some Yr 10 guy called Chris (or one of his friends) stole my umbrella!!! If I don’t get it back, I’ll have to get a new one! What will my mum say to that…..
And Happy Birthday to Shirley (Huang) and Jonathan (Chou) (hope I spelt their names right…)

Yes, it’s a stupid title. Yes, it’s actually a day of the year. Yes, it means that there’s about 2 days or less till Jonathan Chou’s b’day (and someone else’s, but I can’t remember whose). Yes, for those of you in Yr 9 at Baulko, it meant a maths common test. It means a whole heap of things to a whole heap of people with a whole heap of different views and ideas. To me, it means worrying about the common test, doing it, and finding that it was actually easier than expected! Odd, that… Bus in the morning was 15 minutes late today. Should’ve known that would be an omen… the bus home was also late. One question I couldn’t get in the test though… that 1 + 1 over x OVER 1 over x + 1 over x + 1. I couldn’t get it, fractions over fractions always get me. Anyways, I asked my maths tutor this afternoon (he used to go to baulko too, interestingly), and he helped me work it out then… you know when people show you how to do something after you’ve tried over and over again to do it yourself, and then you feel so stupid as to not be able to do it yourself after they show you how simple it is? thats how I felt after that….
anyways, i’ve been so bored recently that I’ve been like sean and downloading random stuff. I’ve downloaded a new visual style and new icons. They’re not that much different from the old ones, thinking about it, but they’re a newer look, so I feel like its fresh and new. Anyways, FireFox 3 Beta 4 has so many better features than 2.0.0.12, but that often comes with new versions….. but hardly any add-ons work with 3 b1+. And now I’ve got a new book to read. To those of you who watched me read painfully slowly through The Keeping Place, I actually finished the book this time. *pats self on back for bearing to read the boring book*

Yeah, so on Friday I decided to go to the youth group at my church instead of the one at the Salvos. It was quite alot different, mainly in the age group, but also in the way the kids behaved (comes with being older, I guess). At the Salvos, us older kids were kinda laid back while the younger ones ran around, and around, and around. But at Chain Reaction Youth, laid back isn’t a word in most of their vocabs… least not in my opinion. Read more »

Yeah, you can probably guess. We’re doing gymnastics in PE…. I don’t suppose it’s that bad, so long as Johnstone doesn’t make us have to do some sort of sequence… Thanks to Croyle being the other teacher, we can play king of the mat, and its funny when everyone starts making pacts and truces and no one shoves another person off. Then Croyle let us all roam around the equipment, and to choose whichever one we wanted. Free roam…. yeah, so, after king of the mat, I went off to the rings, where we were supposed to do a couple of things for 20 seconds minimum, then move onto the next thing for 20 secs, then another etc. Your arms really start to get sore after holding yourself there for a minute… not to mention you’re getting tired after half a minute, well, most people seem to. After Croyle had adjusted the height of the rings, Owen had to jump to reach them, poor Owen.
Sean’s still looking for someone to help with his games, meanwhile he’s off talking about AIML (programming for AIs) and getting an extension on his house. And now we have a choice to do Duke of Ed…. I don’t know if I should do it… it requires EFFORT after all…….. Tomorrow we’ve got to do that blasted ESSA test as well. That’s going to be interesting, I’ll be missing out on history, oh well. Also the assignments have been cooling down as well! Only 2 homework ones from science, a commerce one and finishing IST. And after Easter we have an English essay….

Hey guys! Just decided to do a quick run through how my life has been going (generally) so far. Start off: School. Its been good to me so far, not yet overkill on the assignments like some other people, just still enough to ware me down a tad bit. I’ve still got two assignments due this week, so I’m going to try and squeeze it in with my mum’s schedule.
Soul Purpose. Yeah, if I hadn’t mentioned earlier somewhere, I’m a leader in JSP (Junior Soul Purpose). This term (and probably year) Soul Purpose split to try and cater for a wider range of people. Junior for a bit more fun and games, and Senior for a more Bible study type group. Mrs Corfield asked a few of us yr 9s to be leaders, and I decided I’d join. Now, Tammy, Gabi, Dietrich, Tim, Jeffery and I are leaders in JSP. We haven’t done too much yet, just help out with activities, put on a play, try to lead in group discussions, and have a rather odd session about ‘Our Family In God’ yesterday. Read more »

Its not often that I fall when ice-skating (ok, recently it’s been every week, but who cares?) but this week, 3 times I fell over, and, well, the 2nd and 3rd time actually hurt. I’ve now got a long graze on my leg and skinned a tiny patch of my arm. Least its not like some other people… Bryan last year (someone skated over his finger). Now I’ve just got to see whether my neglecting to wash the injuries will be a bad idea or not… lol.
I’ve been so far behind in starting some of my assignments (like some other people I know) that I now have a day each to do 2 assignments. But, after I finish all these assignments (just when we thought we’d be free of science assignments for a while, Ogle gives us two more. I think he sees it as the only way to get us to do our homework is to give it as assignments. Probably how Hopper works…), I plan on helping Sean with his need for an artist to do his flash games/animations/whatever. I won’t be any good, but someone is better than no one! He’s been looking for someone to help him for ages, even put up a message in the G block to get someone! And Ben and Simon are embarking on making some 3D graphics thing where Ben will be programming it with C# (programming language he thinks the best, but I can’t say anything, as the only programming I know is a tiny bit of javascript) and Simon is supposed to be doing the graphics.. but I don’t know the full details. I said I’d help them with it as well, but… you never know. Well, that’s a quick wizz at the more interesting stuff in my life… Oh! And Sean, being ambitious as he always is, is planning on making his own version of the Master Chief’s (from Halo) armour. He got the idea after seeing some pics of some American’s 2 years of planning and making his own. Anyways…
